Kristen teaches in the classroom that is part of our house. Brian and Mark are experimenting with light colors.

Andy works at the Associate Director's desk while he is on furlough. Andy works with African colleagues and coordinating technical details to keep the language projects going in the interior of the country.

When we were up north in Kara we had some time to hike in the hills.

The "baobab" trees are really big!    When we talk of "bush taxi" this is what that usually means.

This size of bush taxi is called a "15 passenger", but that doesn't count what goes on top!

Every day there are new transportation experiences. Here Kristen is learning to drive a "moto."

One village trip took us on some interesting roads. Some places nice strong bridges were donated after WW2.

Between 5 and 6 PM we try to make time to take a bike ride, then cool down after.

Other days after work there are always things to do around the house.
